The New Uses Entrepreneur Development Center (NUEDC) supports the process
of bringing new uses products to the market by attracting, encouraging and educating emerging startup
enterprises. The Center introduces aspiring entrepreneurs to public and private resources critical to
their growth as well as a community of peers, service providers and manufacturing experts.
Product manufacturing and commercialization support services will assist start-up businesses
in drafting business plans, developing business models, conducting market studies and addressing
general business concerns. They will also provide access to Northern Illinois University faculty,
staff and students. Product manufacturing support services will include engineering and research
for: furthering product development and testing, streamlining production processes, optimizing
designs, prototyping and other related services as needed. |
